Start your ICT career with us! We’re looking for a Graduate Network Support Officer to provide vital network support and gain hands-on experience across council sites. This is a great opportunity to develop your technical skills in a supportive environment.
Key responsibilities
Provide first-level ICT support and escalate issues as needed.
Assist with deploying devices and gathering technical requirements.
Contribute to the setup and optimisation of network infrastructure (LAN/WAN).
Manage role-based access and generate audit reports.
Implement and test security measures to safeguard ICT systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with hardware and devices.
Develop technical expertise in server and network administration.
Mentor and guide trainees in the ICT team.
About you
A degree in IT or equivalent experience in an ICT role.
Knowledge of PC hardware, Windows OS, and Microsoft Office.
Basic understanding of server roles (AD/DHCP/DNS) and Microsoft 365.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to troubleshoot network issues.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Team player with a focus on achieving collective goals.
What we offer you
Base salary between $75,071.65 and $86,731.41 will be offered (dependent on skills and experience) + 12.5% superannuation
2-year contract, full-time (37.5 hours per week)
19-day month
