IT Support Officer/ Technician

Australian Meat Group is seeking an Information Technology support officer to administer and support the daily operations of the company. This permanent full -time position comes with opportunities for growth and development for an aspiring candidate who is interested in varied and challenging role in a manufacturing environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• General Information and Communication Technology support
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues over the phone and in person
• Resolving hardware issues with workstations, laptops, printers, scanners, network equipment, and mobile devices
• Perform the provision and installation of IT equipment
• Other projects and duties as assigned

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Experience with managing Active Directory, GPO’s etc.
• Experience with system integration and automation equipment such as robotic stackers etc.
• Ability to diagnose and solve problems
• Experience with barcoding equipment.
• Extensive experience with IT systems, devices, and related technologies
• Understanding of general networking (routers, switches, wireless)
• Excellent communications skills both verbal and written, with the ability to translate technical issues into simple terminology that everyday users can understand
