White sandy beaches, crystal clear waters and a great climate, Great Keppel Island Hideaway is an amazing place to live and work.

We need a Receptionist to join our hospitality team on a tropical island paradise off the coast of Central Queensland.

What You'll Do:

Greet guests with a warm smile and a welcoming attitude as they arrive at our stunning beachfront.

Assist visitors with information about island activities, walking tracks and ferry bookings.

Manage reservations for cabanas, cabins, water sports gear, and other beach amenities.

Ensure a seamless check-in and check-out process for our beach-loving guests.

Provide excellent customer service while maintaining an upbeat and friendly atmosphere.

Our beachfront bar and bistro dining area accommodates groups of up to 500 with buffet, a la carte and options in addition to traditional service for our in-house guests, day visitors, corporate functions and weddings.

Our Beachfront Guest Accommodation meanwhile will accommodate up to 200 guests.

The ideal candidate will have finished year 11 and and have some reception experience, ideally in a resort setting and with an international theme to complement our focus on seasonal and local produce.

This is a full-time position (38hrs per week). Early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holiday work will be required.

Ability to work efficiently as a team member and as an individual.

Punctual, reliable, yet flexible to meet the needs of the island community.
