With Growth comes opportunity. Queensland's largest independent liquor retail group is looking for a Fit out and Maintenance Manager for its growing fleet of liquor outlets.
About Us.
The Star Liquor group is an expanding challenger in the liquor retail space, currently at 120 outlets operating under three customer centric brands, our plans are to take this number to 150 over the next three years.
Star operates hotels, accommodation and retail businesses across Queensland and South Australia and prides itself on its ability to Zig, when others Zag. It has a dynamic structure and approach to making growth happen thru its people and professionalism.
About You.
We are looking for a dynamic, passionate & experienced individual to join a ‘can do’ team. This is a full-time position where you will be required to work hand in hand with our operations and support team to achieve great brand outcomes.
Flawless planning, communication, teamwork, experience in retail fit out environments and an ability to meet budgets will set you apart as our ideal candidate.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES…
- Effective relationship management with all stakeholders including property representatives, contractors and suppliers, staff, contractors and other internal parties
- Obtain and negotiate subcontractor / supplier quotes
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once via contractors.
- Manage all aspects of the project from inception to completion including implementation and driving of project timelines
- Complete projects within time & budget constraints
- Manage any changes to scope, project variations and defects
- Manage all OH&S issues
- Provide effective direction & leadership to direct reports, stakeholders and site staff
- Conduct site visits as required to ensure smooth and efficient project completion
- Lease management and negotiation experience will be a great advantage
PRE REQUISITES…
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Retail fit out and/or Maintenance environment
- Project estimating experience essential
- Commitment to delivering brilliantly designed retail environments
- Demonstrated problem solving skills/Outstanding attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
- Detailed understanding of Australian Building Standards
- Commitment to OH&S practices and standards
- Strong time management & prioritising skills
