About the Role
Joining the dredging department, the Project Engineer will work closely with the projects and asset team to deliver maintenance and capital dredging projects across both metro and regional WA. Tasks include:
Assist with the end-to-end delivery of dredging projects, from the preliminary stages, mobilisation and project execution
Analyse project information such as contract documents, drawings, specifications and statutory approvals to allow preparation of programs, work break down structures, estimates and budgets
Plan and schedule all plant, labour, material and external resources
Prepare and present project startup, progress and close out reports for the client and management team
Record and monitor dredge production and efficiency data, working with the project team to implement Continuous Improvements
Oversee quality control and ensure works adhere to specification
A Senior level may complete the following tasks and will have demonstrated contract management and client management experience:
Focus on HSEQ and commercial (contract management) risk management
Provide "first point of contact" with client and coordinate client project requirements
Monitor and report on project timelines, milestones, delivery schedules and financial aspects
About You
Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or Coastal Engineering
Min 2 years’ experience in a similar position, ideally heavy civil or marine construction industry
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Current driver’s licence and white card
Available to undertake occasional travel to project sites as required

12-month contract duration
Based in Henderson, WA
Monday to Friday - 38-hours per week
Occasional travel and away work, which may include overnight stays ranging from a few days to a few weeks
Salary from $100,000 - $130,000 + superannuation (based on experience)
