About the role

We are seeking a Senior talented and motivated Tax Accountant to join our dynamic team at Gravity Advisory. In this role, you will be mainly responsible for reviewing accounting and taxation work prepared by our junior team members. As a key member of our accounting department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial success and compliance of our clients' businesses.

What you'll be doing

Review monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns for individual and business clients

Providing tax planning advice and strategies to optimise our clients' financial positions

Conducting tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with the latest legislation and regulations

Review & guide team with the preparation of financial statements, budgets and forecasts

Staying informed of changes in the taxation landscape and training junior members

What we're looking for

Tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field

Minimum 10 years' experience in a similar accounting or taxation role

Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws, regulations and compliance requirements

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in using accounting software and technologies

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Suit retired tax practitioner or stay at home mum
