The role

• Prepare financial documents: monthly progress claims and accounts payable / receivable in accordance with company procedures
• Checking and reporting variations between invoiced amounts and payments received and verifying discounts or rebates taken
• Prepare journal entries which may involve plant carrying out general banking duties and extracting statistical data from records for analysis
• Analyse project costings against forecast and budgets, ensuring costings are accurate to enable the preparation of reliable forecasts.
• End-of-month process including accruals, balance sheet and trial balance reconciliations
• Assist with updating project forecasts and budgets, with the delivery team and other reporting as required
• Partnering with the business to maintain, insightfully challenge and increase effectiveness of systems and contract achievements

About you

• Outstanding communication, both written and verbal
• Part qualified or qualified (CA/CPA/ACCA)
• Proven experience in a similar role
