The experienced team collaborates closely with architects, builders, and designers to ensure every project is completed to the highest standards, on time and within budget. Now, they are looking for an exceptional Project Manager to be based in Pascoe Vale, Melbourne VIC.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end project delivery from estimator handover to final completion, ensuring scope, budget, and timelines are clearly defined.
Liaise directly with clients, internal teams, and subcontractors to maintain clear communication and strong working relationships.
Approve joinery materials and construction methods, guiding the Set Out team on best practices.
Develop, monitor, and update project schedules, ensuring alignment across production, site, and installation teams.
Collaborate with Production and Site Managers to ensure installation deadlines and quality standards are met.
Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors, issue purchase orders, and manage procurement to stay within budget.
Track and forecast project progress, costs, and risks, providing regular reports and updates.
Drive continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies and contributing to operational enhancements across departments.
Requirements:
Proven leadership and exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal).
Strong time management abilities with a keen eye for detail.
In-depth knowledge of joinery/cabinet-making processes and construction.
Excellent understanding of joinery materials, hardware, and finishes.
Trade background in cabinet making/joinery is highly preferred.
Demonstrated experience in leading project teams to successful outcomes.
Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial joinery project management.
