The Opportunity: Full Time Service Technician/Mechanic – Fourth Year Apprentices in relevant fields encouraged to apply!

We are looking for an experienced field service technician or A grade mechanic or apprentices to diagnose, repair and service forklifts onsite and at customer sites around Victoria. You will be based in South Eastern Suburbs. You will be provided with a company van, a mobile phone, fuel card and uniform.

The Role:

• Carry out quality field service repairs and routine servicing primarily onsite however at times may be required in the workshop
• Carry out inspections, fault finding and diagnostic checks
• Provide exceptional and courteous customer service
• Maintain service book paperwork, clear and accurate job records noting travel, labour and all parts used
• Maintain order and cleanliness of service van and ensure stock is up to date

To be considered for this position you will possess the following:

• Sound technical knowledge and experience working with LPG/Diesel/Electric forklifts incorporating the ability to diagnose and rectify faults through effective problem-solving skills or mechanical experience in a relevant field with training provided
• Current Australian manual drivers’ licence
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability To Work Safely
• Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks
• A positive "can do" attitude
• The ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
• Hardworking, punctual and reliable
• Neat and tidy appearance
