The Role

Support financial decision-making and compliance by collecting, analysing and reporting on data and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data in the finance system.

• Produce accurate monthly, annual and other periodic financial and management reports within agreed timelines.
• Manage and maintain the fixed assets register and capital expenditure budget.
• Review and develop management reports including cash flow forecasting.
• Prepare and lodge statutory reports and returns.
• Reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
• Oversee company insurance requirements and maintain currency as appropriate.
• Comply with relevant legislation and accounting standards, including taxation requirements.
• Identify and report on opportunities for cost savings and efficiency gains.
• Review accuracy of information required for all financial transactions on an ongoing basis.
• Undertake other finance and accounting related tasks as required.

About You

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce or Business.
• Demonstrated experience in the preparation and analysis of financial reports in a large organisation.
• Advanced skills in the use of Excel, Word and other Microsoft Office products.
• Financial and management reporting skills appropriate to a large and growing organisation would be highly desirable.
