ABOUT THE ROLE
Prace College is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Wellbeing Manager to oversee the provision of our wellbeing service and student support across our Reservoir and Mernda campuses. This is a full-time, ongoing position, requiring a presence across both school sites.
You will be part of a dynamic team passionate about helping students to achieve their goals through education. The role requires a dedicated professional to oversee day-to-day campus operations, respond to student management-related issues, enhance student wellbeing, and maximise student engagement and learning outcomes.
Responsibilities and duties will be across two campuses:
Staff supervision and leadership
Wellbeing support
Teamwork and collaboration
Administration, record-keeping and reporting
Child safety
Prace College is an Independent Specialist School that provides supportive, flexible and inclusive education to meet the needs of at-risk young people, and supports them to re-engage with and participate in learning, community and work activities. We are a not-for-profit organisation.
ABOUT YOU
Qualifications and experience:
-Postgraduate qualification in Social Work, Youth Work or a related discipline.
-Strongly demonstrated experience in leading and implementing comprehensive wellbeing initiatives in an educational setting, and supervising wellbeing staff.
-Extensive experience in providing individual and group support to students, including skills in triage, assessment, brief interventions, and referrals to appropriate services.
