About the Role
MMD Advisory is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to support their growing pipeline of business development activity. This contract role is based in Sydney, with flexible work-from-home arrangements available.

As a Bid Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving new business opportunities by leading and coordinating strategic, high-quality bid submissions. Working across infrastructure, civil, rail, water, and energy sectors, you'll be part of a dynamic and agile team that partners with Tier 1 contractors and client-side delivery teams on major projects across NSW.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end development of responses to RFTs, RFPs, EOIs, and capability statements

Coordinate input from internal stakeholders and subject matter experts

Draft compelling, non-technical content and ensure submission compliance and quality

Format and structure documents using InDesign and Microsoft Word

Maintain and enhance the central bid library, including CVs, project sheets, and case studies

Collaborate with the internal marketing team on content and brand alignment

Support ad hoc business development and marketing initiatives as required

About You

5+ years’ experience in bid management, proposal development, or business development

Proven success in winning new business through competitive tendering processes

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

High attention to detail, with strong editing and formatting abilities

Comfortable using InDesign and proposal development software

Strategic thinker with strong organisational and problem-solving skills

A collaborative mindset with experience working cross-functionally with marketing, technical, and leadership teams
