Role Description As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you will work closely with experienced professionals on a variety of projects, gaining hands-on experience in the design, analysis, and implementation of civil engineering solutions. Under the guidance of the Civil Engineering Manager, you will have the opportunity to contribute to key project tasks and develop your technical and problem-solving skills.
Job Responsibilities
• Assist in the planning and execution of engineering projects including site investigations, civil engineering calculations & analysis, design & modelling, CAD drafting, technical specifications, bill of quantities, and technical report writing
• Collaborate with engineers, and architects from multiple disciplines, participating, and contributing to the Civil team
• Conduct self-initiated learning of technical skills as continued professional development (CPD).
To be successful in this role you will have:
• A Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent qualification. • Graduate Membership with IEAust., NZIE, or approaching eligibility.
• At least one year of relevant engineering experience would be highly desirable
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive approach to continuous learning and professional development.
• Self-discipline and ability to manage personal workload efficiently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Intermediate to Advanced level).
• Familiarity with Australian and New Zealand standards and building codes.
