We provide detailed civil engineering design and drafting, construction administration and project management. Our team includes experienced civil engineers and civil design professionals.

We based in Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast and embrace the relaxed, coastal lifestyle.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate, or soon to be graduated, civil engineer who is interested in an opportunity to learn Civil Design. This is a specialist role using 12d and Autocad software for which we’ll provide on-the-job and formal training. This will provide an excellent grounding for your future career providing a thorough understanding of civil design including earthworks, roadworks, stormwater, pavements, water and sewer reticulation.

As this is a specialist role it is anticipated that you would focus on developing your design skills for a period of 2 to 4 years. You could then continue to focus on the Civil Design Engineer role through the next phase of your career, or move into other specialties such as traffic engineering, stormwater, or flood modelling for example, or transition to a project and client management role. As you learn the skills required for the design engineer role you will also be exposed to the construction stage of the projects you have designed, where you’ll gain an understanding of how the decisions made in the design phase impact the efficiency of construction.

About You

The successful applicant will have the following qualification and traits:

Recently graduated, or soon to graduate, with Bachelor Engineering (Hons)

Live on the Sunshine Coast (or keen to relocate)

Keen interest in taking on the specialised design engineer role

Reliable, Punctual, Honest

High level of attention to detail

Willingness to learn new skills
