About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experience administrator to join our Arts and Cultural Services team.

As our new Administration Officer you will make a difference daily by ensuring the safe, effective and efficient delivery of cultural programming at the Ferntree Gully Community Arts Centre.

You will report directly to the Team Leader Cultural Venues and work collaboratively with the Arts and Cultural Services Team.

This is a part time temporary role, 3 days per week, based at Ferntree Gully Community Arts Centre. This role is required to work onsite to ensure the operational needs of the role are met.

This is a Band 4 classified role. Remuneration will be $71,212 to $75,849 depending on experience (pro-rata for part time) plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee.

What you will bring to this role

The key selection criteria for this role are:

  • Experience in utilising ticketing and payment systems;
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service. Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills;
  • Proven administrative experience, including financial record-keeping, payment processing, invoicing, purchase orders and coordinating facility maintenance;
  • Experience in engaging with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Hands on experience in creative art studios including use of pottery kilns, paint easels, and room set-up
