Job Opportunity -
This is newly created opportunity due to the ongoing demand in Australia, the business already provides aftermarket parts running from its head offices, but they want a dedicated BDM the has the business contacts and experience to make this role a true success in Newcastle NSW. Your job is if you choose to except this will be to mark out the market and drive new business sales by establishing key clients from its capital equipment in earthmoving, mining, quarry and forestry markets. You will cold call and win over key clients to lock in and build contract business to provide the following equipment and services.
· Trackpads
· Tracks
· Undercarriage
· OEM parts
· Earthmoving tyres
· Oils, filters, wear parts (GET)
· Used / refurbishment OEM parts
· Misc Parts
You will cover all of the Mid North Coast which will encompass Newcastle and Hunter Valley and all surrounding areas. It’s important to understand that there will be travel with this role and you will be supported from Head office in relation to technical and pricing. There are three parts to this role
· Secure New business from existing customers.
· Secure New customer that has no dealt with my client before.
· Bring back old customer that used to purchase parts.
You will also cover all marketing and advertising for the business, and it will come down to you in how you conduct and spend this marketing budget. You will need to be able to think on your feet but also have that managerial experience to really add value to this division and deliver the result required to start building an aftermarket sales team.
Candidate Key Requirements
· 2 -5 Years in Aftermarket sales
· Proven contacts and relationships within the earthmoving / mining based clients
· If you have trade qualification or come off the tools this would be fantastic.
· Passion for sales
· Clear communication and organisational skills
Salary Package –
· Base Salary $85,000 - $90,000
· Fully maintained company 4WD
· All travel and accommodation paid for
· Company com’s - $30,000 - $40,000 1st year
· Phone & Laptop
· Full technical training of parts and equipment services
· Interstate travel and maybe 1 or 2 trip internationally
