Senior Accountant Needed, Swan Hill Based, Established Client Portfolio

Hays Recruitment are assisting a well-known Accountancy firm in the Swan Hill region to recruit a Senior Accountant to look after a well-established portfolio of clients, the organisation promotes work life balance and this is an excellent opportunity for someone to progress their career in the finance sector, whilst maintaining a life outside of work.

Your new role

As part of this role, you will be responsible for a range of tasks, including but not limited to:

• Creating various types of Income Tax Returns and Financial Statements, such as those for individuals, partnerships, companies, and trusts
  
• Completing bookkeeping duties and preparing Business Activity Statements
  
• Conducting client consultations and meetings
  
• Managing a portfolio of clients
  
• Reviewing the work of team members, based on your level of experience.
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Current membership in CA, CPA or an equivalent professional organisation
• High proficiency in MS Office, MYOB, Xero, and Reckon Software
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
