Join a well-established organisation, stepping into a pivotal Service Manager role. You'll lead a large team of approximately 40 in the workshop.

This is a high-pressure environment, demanding strong leadership to drive profitability and efficiency within the service department. Your expertise will be crucial in streamlining operations and reducing lost time and excessive overtime, all while ensuring top-tier service delivery.

This role requires a decisive manager who can effectively lead and manage. Day to day you will be:

• Managing a large service team and workshop.
• Driving profitability and efficiency within the department.
• Implementing strategies to reduce lost time and overtime.
• Ensuring high standards of customer service.
• Reporting directly to the owner, providing regular updates on department performance.
• Utilising the Equip system for efficient management.
• Maintaining a strong leadership presence.

To excel in this role, you'll need:

• Proven leadership and management experience.
• Strong financial acumen and a focus on profitability.
• Experience in the truck industry, preferably with leading brands.
• Diesel mechanic background is highly advantageous.
• Proficiency with the Equip system.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle a high-pressure environment.

Previous exposure to Trucks in a retail or wholesale environment would be advantageous for this position. Candidates who have experience with brands such as Kenworth, Volvo, Western Star, MAN, Mercedes Benz Trucks, Fuso, Iveco, Hino, Isuzu, Scania, Freightliner or similar are strongly encouraged to apply.

This role offers a base salary around $130,000, plus a 20% bonus, company car, laptop, and phone.
