Our services include installation, maintenance and repair. Whether our unique clients need a new elevator installed in their commercial building or require routine maintenance at their home elevator to ensure peak efficiency and reliability, we are on call and available to nurture these long-term relationships.

We’re looking for an Experienced Service Manager to join our high performing team across Victoria.

The Service Manager plays a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company's service department. This position is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of high-quality lift maintenance, repair, and modernisation services to our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities

Service Delivery

Supervise and coordinate all aspects of service delivery, including preventative maintenance, emergency repairs and customer service.

Ensure sites are audited regularly and we are compliant with all relevant safety regulations, industry standards and contractual obligations.

First call technical support for technicians

Monitor service performance against key metrics (e.g., response times, customer satisfaction, equipment uptime).

Analyse service data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential service opportunitie

Team Management

Lead, motivate, and mentor at least one team member, ensuring they are adequately trained, equipped, and supported.

Provide feedback and address any performance concerns.

Onboard new service technicians as needed.

Develop and implement training programs to enhance technical skills and customer service expertise.

Customer Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Proactively address customer concerns and resolve service-related issues promptly and effectively.

Liaise with customers to schedule service appointments and communicate service updates.

Inventory Management

Oversee the procurement, storage, and utilisation of service parts and equipment.

Maintain adequate inventory levels to minimize service delays.

Implement cost-effective inventory management strategies to optimise stock levels.

Financial Management

Monitor service department budgets and ensure they are adhered to.

Prepare service reports and analyse financial performance.

Identify and implement cost-saving measures to improve service department profitability.

Health and Safety

Ensure a safe and healthy working environment for all service technicians.

Conduct regular safety audits and implement safety protocols to minimise workplace hazards.

Investigate and address any safety incidents promptly.

Qualifications & Experience

Proven experience as a Service Manager or in a similar role within the lift industry (minimum 3 years).

In-depth knowledge of lift systems, including installation, maintenance, repair, and modernisation procedures.

Strong understanding of relevant safety regulations, industry standards and quality control procedures.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Proven ability to manage budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.

Proficiency in relevant computer software applications (CRM, scheduling software).

A strong commitment to customer service and a focus on exceeding customer expectations.

An electrical licence is preferred but not essential
