About the role
An exciting opportunity awaits a driven sales professional to join a well-established dealership. This role focuses on the sale of a range of commercial vehicles, with a strong emphasis on a leading rigid truck brand. You will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships and actively developing new business opportunities within the local area spanning from the Southern Gold Coast to the Ballina/Lismore region.
This is a fantastic chance to join a close-knit and supportive team environment where internal harmony is a priority. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to the dealership's ongoing success and will report directly to the Dealer Principal.
For the right individual, this role offers significant earning potential through a competitive commission structure and manufacturer incentives.
Role responsibilities include:
- Handling and following up on internet-based sales enquiries.
- Managing and nurturing relationships with existing customers.
- Proactively identifying and pursuing new customer leads and business.
- Achieving and exceeding monthly and annual sales targets.
- Specialising in the sale of rigid trucks from a leading brand.
- Maintaining a strong understanding of truck specifications and regulations.
Required skills:
- Previous experience in a related industry such as trailers, machinery, or light commercial vehicles.
- Proven track record in a B2B sales environment.
- A proactive and results-oriented approach to sales.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork abilities.
- An understanding of commercial vehicle specifications is desirable.
- A willingness to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the dealership.
Previous exposure to Trucks in a retail or wholesale environment would be advantageous for this position. Candidates who have experience with brands such as Kenworth, Volvo, Western Star, MAN, Mercedes Benz Trucks, Fuso, Iveco, Hino, Isuzu, Scania, Freightliner or similar are strongly encouraged to apply.
This role offers an on-target earning potential in the range of $140,000 to $170,000 per annum (though this is uncapped), comprising a negotiable base salary and an attractive commission structure. A company vehicle or car allowance is also included. About Teamrecruit
