A prestigious 5 star hotel in the Ballina Shire is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic member to join the team. This flexible role offers a variety of shifts housekeeping shifts during the day and waitperson shifts available in the evening.

HK responsibilities include:

Making beds, changing linens, vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs

Cleaning and sanitising toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks

Maintaining cleanliness throughout the hotel

Sweeping/vacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard floors

Sorting, washing, loading, and unloading laundry

Keeping bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies

Monitoring cleaning supplies and reporting any necessary repairs or replacements to Management

Waitperson responsibilities include:

Welcoming, seating, taking orders and serving food and beverages.

Preparing drinks and cocktails.

Providing assertive service; refilling glasses, clearing plates and suggestive upselling

Foster co-operation and respect between co-workers.

RSA required.

Requirements:

Eager to learn and ability to take on feedback

Good customer service skills

Reliability, Organisational skills, Integrity and Honesty

Permitted to work permanently with no restriction on hours (e.g., citizen, permanent resident) (Preferred)

Reliable transport is a must
