Backpackers Hostel requires Housekeeper.

Housekeeping and general cleaning duties.

Looking for PERMENANT long term employee.

Starting on casual rate - 35hrs per week .

Shifts between 8am and 3pm - Monday to Friday - Occasional weekend shifts.

Our small, dedicated team pride ourselves on providing a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere for travelers. A large part of ensuring each guest enjoys thier stay is providing a high standard of cleaning to rooms and common areas.

This job is all about the people and maintaining positive vibes in a causal environment. We are seeking reliable and confident Housekeepers to join our team.

A Certificate III in Cleaning Operations is highly desirable and will be a significant advantage for your application.

Key duties:

Prepare and clean rooms, making beds, vacuuming & dusting

Cleaning bathrooms and replenishing amenities

Safe use of cleaning chemicals

Cleaning of common areas and Kitchen area

Proactively report hazards, damaged or faulty equipment

The ideal candidate requires:

Housekeeping experience

Be physically fit (3 storey property with stairs)

Be detail oriented

Have a friendly, outgoing and polite personality with a positive 'can do' attitude

Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills

A passion for delivering exceptional customer service

Be able to work with a team and independently
