About the Company

Our client is a large retail and wholesale company, with operations spanning nationally. They are currently seeking a Financial Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.

The offices are professional and offer on-site parking, and the team are friendly, collaborative and encouraging.

About the Role

As the Financial Accountant you will report directly to the Financial Controller. Your responsibilities will include -

· Month-end journals

· Prepayments and allocations

· Bank reconciliations

· Fixed assets maintenance

· FBT and BAS preparation and submission

· Journals, including payroll

· Corporate card maintenance

About You

You should be suitable experienced and qualified, with a degree in either Finance, Commerce or Accounting, with CPA or equivalent. You will be hands-on with processing, be able to problem-solve and work with a high level of accuracy. Good communications skills will allow you to integrate seamlessly in the business.

· Negotiable salary, dependent on experience

· 1 day per week work from home - either Tues/Wed or Thurs

· Start between 6.00am and 9.00am daily
