A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated and well organised Electrician to join our dynamic team working on underground electrical networks, traffic signal and road lighting installations, and maintenance and repair of local government assets. With a good variety of work across multiple areas of the industry, we provide formal training and competencies as well as on-the-job training to ensure compliant and quality workmanship and high level of job satisfaction.

Normal weeks consist of Monday to Friday day shift along with night shift and overtime opportunities.

The successful applicant will be provided with a fully maintained company vehicle, phone & industry training.

The successful applicant must meet the below requirements:

Current Qld Electrical licence

Self-motivation & a positive attitude

Strong work ethic & committed to learning

Ability to follow company procedures

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

High quality of work and attention to detail

Current manual drivers licence

General safety induction card

A safety conscious attitude

The following skills will be highly regarded but are not essential:

Experience in one or all of;

Commercial industrial maintenance and new construction

LV & HV switching on the Energex Network

Rate 2 and 3, sports field or other pole mounted lighting

Energy QLD Authorisations- Specifically LVSO, ASR

Other accreditations with Energex

Current CPR/LVR/Polarity & other tickets

MR truck license

EWP over 11m ticket

Forklift Licence

Confined Space ticket
