About the role

AB Solar & Electrical Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Electrician to join our team in Ormeau, Queensland. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality electrical & solar services to our residential and commercial clients, ensuring their needs are met efficiently and safely.

What you'll be doing

Conducting electrical installations, maintenance and repairs across a range of projects

Troubleshooting and problem-solving electrical issues

Adhering to all relevant electrical safety standards and regulations

Providing excellent customer service to our clients

Installing solar & battery systems to a high standard

Mentoring a team of apprentices to ensure all solar & electrical projects are delivered on time and to a high standard

Installing split system air conditioning units if you have experience in this field

What we're looking for

Qualified Electrician with a current QLD Electrical Licence

Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified Electrician

SAA accreditation preferred but can be obtained through the company

ARC license preferred but not essential

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good communication and customer service skills

Valid open Australian drivers licence

Construction white card

Working at heights certificate (can be obtained)

CPR & LVR certification

Experience in Solar & Aircon installations
