About the role

Ground Earth is seeking an experienced Cafe/Restaurant Supervisor to join our team in our Woolgoolga, NSW location. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bustling cafe and restaurant, ensuring exceptional service and an unforgettable dining experience for our customers.

What you'll be doing

Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff to maintain efficient and effective service delivery

Ensure all food and beverage orders are prepared and served to the highest quality standards

Manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and liaise with suppliers to maintain adequate supplies

Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner

Assist with training and development of restaurant staff

Maintain compliance with all relevant health, safety and licensing regulations

Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures and strategies to drive continuous improvement

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience in a cafe or restaurant supervisor role

Strong barista and waitressing experience with the ability to work under pressure

Strong customer service orientation and the ability to lead and motivate a team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficient in Square POS, cash handling, inventory management and staff rostering

Working knowledge of food safety and workplace health and safety regulations

Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering hospitable dining experiences
