About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced and self-motivated individual with a passion for procurement and high-level customer service to join our dynamic and high-performing team. The successful candidate will work closely with our Operations & Sales team at our Canning Vale facility to manage purchasing activities and ensure efficient supply chain operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee day-to-day purchasing
- Sourcing of all stocked and buy-in product lines/source alternate supply
- Creating and processing of purchase orders for external suppliers
- Managing customer backorders and communicating with customers accordingly
- Expediting supplier purchase orders
- Organise logistics for goods inwards and receipting goods via WMS (EveXso)
- Manage of all stock and inventory levels and customer orders
- Generate and analyse reports on procurement activities and supplier performance
- Communicate with management, suppliers and customers

Skills and experience
Required Skills
- Previous experience in a purchasing/inventory role (qualification in Supply Chain/Procurement preferred but not essential)
- High level attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including negotiation skills
- High level computer skills with previous experience within a warehouse management system as a benefit
- Strong ability to collaborate effectively within a team
This role is full time Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm. The successful candidate can expect an excellent salary package based on experience and work ethic/attitude.
