Join Our Team as a Kitchen Maestro at Our OSHC!

Do you have a passion for making healthy food and snacks for children? We're looking for a friendly and enthusiastic cook/kitchen hand to join our team at a bustling OSHC service, where you'll be assisting children to make their own breakfast and prepping afternoon tea for when their school day is done! This position is based at Greenbank State School and perfect for someone looking for a flexible and fun role!

What You'll Do:

Whip up tasty treats: Prepare delicious and nutritious food, including breakfast (served until 8:30 am) and afternoon tea, using a variety of recipes. Sandwiches are a staple, but creativity is always welcome!

Keep It Clean: Light kitchen cleaning after food prep and daily monitoring of fridge/freezer temperatures.

Collaborate & Create: Work with our management team to plan exciting weekly menus that meet food requirements.

Stay Stocked: Keep an eye on inventory, conduct monthly stocktakes, and let management know when it's time to order more supplies.

Welcome Smiles: As our wonderful kitchen wizard, you'll greet children and families with a friendly "hello" each morning, making everyone feel welcome and ready for the day!

What You Need:

A Food Safety Certificate (can be obtained before starting if needed).

A love for cooking and a heart for children.

A Working with Children check (QLD Blue Card)
