About Us

Motobility is a leading Australian business based in Perth specialising in mobility equipment sales, service and repairs. We are renowned for our quality products and our exceptional customer service. At current we wholesale, manufacture, and upholster in house, we have retail stores in Osborne Park, Joondalup and Mandurah and we are now preparing to franchise with our first East Coast store opening next month!

About the Role

Motobility is seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources Advisor to lead and develop our growing HR function. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a purpose driven, national business during an exciting time of growth and change. You'll play a key role in shaping our strategy, supporting leaders, and driving continuous improvement across the entire employee lifecycle.

The position is full time Monday - Friday; however, we will offer flexibility in start and finish times for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop the HR department and team of two

Provide HR advice to managers and senior leaders across the business

Ensure HR policies, processes, and records are compliant and up to date

Support disciplinary, grievance, and performance matters with fairness and consistency

Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and offboarding across all locations

Manage workers' compensation claims, sponsorships, and apprenticeships

Continuously improve HR systems and OH&S procedures

Conduct payroll (as backup) when required

Travel to our other WA store locations when required

About You

Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related field

Substantial generalist HR experience 3-5 years (experience in SMEs highly desirable)

Strong understanding of the Fair Work Act and Modern Awards

Skilled at building relationships and influencing across all levels of an organisation

Detail-oriented with a practical, solutions-focused approach

Retail industry knowledge (highly advantageous)

Experience in HRIS (Tanda) desirable, not essential

Experience in franchising (highly advantageous)

Valid driver’s licence
