Located in Carrum Downs this manufacturer provides flavour solutions to the food, beverage, and nutraceutical markets across the Asia Pacific and looking for a driven individual who can take ownership of the quality assurance to assist with quality products that are compliant to exceed meet customer's expectation.

You will have the opportunity to be involved in a range of food and beverage products that are manufactured in-house and supplied around the world.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Create and execute regulatory strategies, identifying optimal markets for flavour products.
• Engage with regulatory authorities, industry bodies, and policymakers to shape the regulatory landscape.
• Analyse regulations, assess risks, and provide strategic recommendations.
• Lead the approval process to secure necessary licenses in target markets.
• Work with legal, compliance, technical, and commercial teams to align with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure product compliance and provide expert regulatory solutions to customers.
• Oversee compliance documentation including allergen statements, GMO declarations, and third-party certifications (e.g., Halal, Kosher).
• Provide technical assistance to external stakeholders and internal teams, ensuring regulatory compliance.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Food Science, Nutrition, Toxicology, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years in regulatory affairs within the flavour or food/beverage industry
• Familiarity with ANZ and APAC food regulations (FDA, FEMA, IOFI, JEFCA, EFSA).
• Strong time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience engaging with regulatory authorities
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
