As a result of continued growth, we are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our firm. This is an excellent opportunity for seasoned professional with a robust technical background, effective supervisory skills, and the ability to manage a portfolio of entities including companies, trusts, self-managed super funds, partnerships, and individuals. In addition, this role will;

Review and finalise tax compliance work prepared by other accountants

Provide solid commercial guidance while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Prepare complex tax work, including Div7A, CGT and FBT

Prepare consolidated General Purpose Financial Reporting to a high standard

Participate in the knowledge sharing and development of undergraduates, graduates and accountants.

Skills & Experience:

Degree qualified accountant with a minimum of 5 years’ experience, ideally in a public practice tax and advisory role.

Demonstrated ability to display critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.

CA or CPA qualified or in the process of completing the designation.

An understanding of AAS for the preparation of financial reports

Effective application of AASB’s

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage your time and work independently

Excellent computer and IT skills, with proficiency in cloud-based accounting systems, including Xero and FYI.
