About the role:

• Lead and manage a team of policy lawyers, paralegals, and admin staff.
• Provide high-level policy advice and secretariat support to internal committees, including preparing and coordinating agendas, submissions, and reports.
• Contribute to strategic decision-making and departmental leadership within the broader Policy and Practice division.

The ideal candidate:

• Have completed a Law degree hold a valid practicing certificate
• 8+ years PQE
• Significant experience delivering strategic legal policy advice.
• Deep understanding of public interest and social justice legal issues.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with experience in mentoring and performance development.
