We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Behavioural Support Practitioner to join our team to service the Bundaberg region. In this role, you will develop and implement positive behaviour support plans, conduct assessments, and provide training and guidance to support staff and families. Your work will be instrumental in promoting positive behavioural changes and improving the overall well-being of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive behavioural assessments.
• Develop and implement individualised positive behaviour support plans.
• Provide training and support to staff, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor and review the effectiveness of behaviour support plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• NDIS Approved Behaviour Support Practitioner
• At least 12 months experience in developing and implementing behaviour support plans.
• Strong understanding of positive behaviour support principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Commitment to person-centred and strengths-based approaches.
• Hold your own ABN for contract work
