The Clinical Nurse (CN) Child, and Family Health delivers safe, high quality, person-centred tele-triage and tele-child health clinical care to callers across Queensland. The CN possesses advanced clinical and problem-solving skills, expert planning and coordination skills in the clinical management of clients with complex care needs, ensuring quality standards are met. The CN is a clinical expert who works independently and interdependently within the healthcare team structure and is pivotal in the planning, managing and delivering of specialist tele-triage and child focused and family centred nursing care. The CN is a provides clinical leadership for professional and clinical practice, education and research. The role supports management activities including call monitoring and portfolio responsibilities.
About you
We are searching for someone who:
- Practices autonomously.
- Provides leadership in clinical decision making to give and/or coordinate care to callers.
- Assumes responsibility for professional leadership for the service in the absence of the Nurse Unit Manager Grade 7 (N7) Child and Family Health.
- Applies critical thinking across all the domains.
