Sleep and Settling Maternal and Child Health Nurse
- Ongoing Part Time - 3 days per week
- Rates of Pay Range: $58.15 - $62.87 per hour + Super

As a Maternal Child Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in promoting the physical, social/emotional, and cognitive wellbeing of infants, children, and families. You will deliver our established and evidence-based sleep and settling program, ensuring that it aligns with the guidelines and policies of the Department of Health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the sleep and settling day stay program with appropriate referrals
- Provide informed information sessions and outreach appointments
- Maintain up-to-date records and documentation as per sleep and settling initiative guidelines
- Manage and triage referrals from Universal and EMCH nurses to S&S program. Determine most appropriate support for families and allocate to a program.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Post Graduate Diploma in Child and Family Health Nursing or Post Graduate Diploma of Nursing Science in Child Family and Community Nursing
- Current registration as a registered nurse and registered midwife on the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency register
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge and understanding of family partnerships, child development, and behaviour
