Early Childhood Teacher (ECT)

Are you an enthusiastic and passionate Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) looking to inspire young minds and make a positive impact on children's development? We are seeking a dedicated ECT to join a vibrant and supportive childcare centre located in Coomera, Gold Coast.

About the Role: As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality, play-based curriculum that fosters each child's growth and love for learning. You’ll be part of a dedicated team committed to providing a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children, families, and staff.

What We’re Looking For:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated ECT who:

Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent qualification).

Has a passion for early childhood education and is open to learning and applying various early education methods and philosophies.

Possesses strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).

Is a team player, with a strong ability to collaborate with families and staff.

Demonstrates excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and implement an engaging, play-based curriculum that aligns with the EYLF.

Provide a safe and nurturing environment that supports children’s development and wellbeing.

Assess and document children’s learning progress.

Build strong relationships with families and the local community.

Participate in ongoing professional development to ensure continuous improvement in teaching practices.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).

Current First Aid and CPR certification.

Valid Blue Card (Working with Children Check) or ability to obtain one.

A strong understanding of EYLF, NQS, and current early childhood education practices.
