Experienced Quality control person required for a Precast panel yard in Yarraville, Victoria

Due to an increase in our current workload, an opportunity exists for an experienced Quality Control professional to join our team. The position is a permanent position for the right person.

The role will involve performing pre- and post-pour checks (checking formwork, steel reinforcement, panel hardware, and concrete elements before and after pours) for a variety of different precast elements. This is a field position and not an office-based job.

Applicants applying must be able to demonstrate the following

• A commitment to safe work practices

• Previous experience in a supervisory QC quality control role

• Ability to interpret design/shop drawings

• Eye for detail

• Working to tight deadlines

• Previous experience within the construction industry highly regarded

• A background in the Precast / Reinforcement industry would be beneficial.

• Ensure all operations are carried out safely.

• Ability to work with your supervisors.

• Any other duties as required.

Due to the scope of works involved with this role, it is imperative that applicants applying are able to work autonomously and part of a team. While Industry experience is preferred, we will also consider applicants who have worked within manufacturing and have relevant QC experience.
