We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our team and bring creativity and expertise to our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori items, biryanis, and vegetarian/vegan options.

· Ensure dishes are seasoned correctly and maintain authentic Indian flavors.

. Support senior chef and coordinate with management to prepare menus.

· Monitor food quality and ensure it meets restaurant standards.

· Operate and regulate kitchen equipment, including ovens, grills, and tandoors.

· Portion food accurately and enhance presentation with gravies, sauces, and garnishes.

· Maintain proper food storage to ensure freshness and prevent spoilage.

· Prepare meals to accommodate special dietary requirements (e.g., gluten-free, vegan).

· Collaborate with the team to develop new recipes and menu items.

· Train and mentor junior kitchen staff and apprentices.

· Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met, following food safety regulations.

· Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional attitude.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Proven experience as a Chef.

· Minimum Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (mandatory).

· At least 1 year of experience as a Chef.

· Strong organizational and communication skills.

· Ability to learn and adapt to Indian cuisines under the Chef’s guidance.

· Capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced kitchen.

· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
