We are looking for a passionate and well-seasoned Cook to join our team in the kitchen at The Coffee Club in Lismore

What is the role?

As a Cook, your attention to detail will shine in this role where you will need to prepare, plate and package the perfect dish for every customer.

You must be:

A Foodie – you are passionate about presenting the food people enjoy;

Proud – becoming a master of your craft to anticipate the needs of your customers;

Hands On - you have a 'nothing is too hard' motto; you're not afraid to get your head down and hands dirty to get the job done.

Qualified - Cert III in Commercial Cookery will be highly regarded.

Skilled - you must have at least 1 year of experience bringing people joy through your dishes

What you will do?

Prepare and cook meals

Ensure consistent quality, portion control, and timely service

Maintain a clean and organised kitchen workstation at all times

Follow food safety and hygiene practices in line with HACCP guidelines

Assist with daily food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients

Operate kitchen equipment safely and perform routine cleaning

Monitor stock levels and assist in stock rotation (FIFO)

Minimise food wastage through proper storage and portioning

Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Adapt to changing business needs, including multitasking during peak hours
