About the role

We are looking for an experienced Part time Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team at Retirement Villages Home Care in Coffs Harbour, NSW. This part-time position is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and skilled healthcare professional to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults in our community.

What you'll be doing

Providing high-quality nursing care to clients in their homes, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions

Administering medications and treatments according to care plans and professional standards

Monitoring clients' health and well-being, and reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate team members

Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to client care

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records

Promoting client independence and supporting them to live safely and comfortably in their homes

What we're looking for

Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the aged care or community nursing sector

Strong clinical skills, including medication management, wound care, and the ability to recognise and respond to changes in client health

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work effectively with clients, their families, and the broader healthcare team

Demonstrated commitment to providing person-centred, compassionate care

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work autonomously

A current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
