Our client is an industry owned, industry led not-for-profit organisation that works to address workforce and skills challenges in the manufacturing sector. Advocating for the industry’s role in the Australian economy, they focus on skills development and building partnerships between industry and the vocational education and training sector.

The Role

As the Training Product Solutions Developer, you will support the team to identify the need for training products that address workforce challenges. With an understanding of the skills challenges within the manufacturing sector, you will recommend training resources or other solutions that may be required to improve individual skills and capabilities in line with industry needs.

This is a full-time, ongoing role.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and respond to requests received for training packages and other workforce solutions
• Identify what training products or learning resources are available and whether further solutions are required
• Evaluate and review content ensuring it is in line with industry standards
• Maintain internal processes to capture all internal and external stakeholder feedback
• Develop initial project scopes through research and assessment of identified solutions
• Develop and deliver high quality online and face to face presentations to internal and external stakeholders
• Develop high quality, accurate draft briefing papers, correspondence, presentations and reports to support training product resources and governance processes

The Successful Candidate

• Knowledge and understanding of VET and training package development
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• High level organisational skills with an ability to plan, prioritise and deliver high quality outcomes on time
• Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to develop innovative, creative solutions
• Technical writing skills in training package development (desirable)
