The key responsibilities for this full-time position are:

  1. Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner
  2. Engage face to face and over the phone with customers to consult and promote sales
  3. Maintain presentation of the showroom to the highest level and ensuring all displays are properly stocked and arranged
  4. Establish and build strong customer relationships whilst delivering exceptional customer excellence
  5. Assisting customers with their purchasing decision by identifying their needs and wants and suggesting suitable options
  6. Process quotes, orders and invoice transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system
  7. Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends to provide relevant information to customers
  8. A positive attitude, showing initiative and drive

About You:

  1. Ideally you will come from a retail sales’, hospitality services, or front facing customer service / sales background
  2. A sense for style and a keen eye for detail
  3. A team player who is flexible and adaptable to assist the greater team when required
  4. Ability to learn quickly and pick up on customer ques including following up with customer queries
  5. Results focused with a continuous improvement mindset to keep up to date with the latest trends
  6. An understanding and appreciation of the food industry. (advantageous)
  7. Confident communication skills both written and verbal, with excellent professional presentation
  8. Minimum intermediate ability in computer skills, including data entry.
  9. Flexibility to work Monday to Friday and some Saturdays.
