About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Exercise Physiologist to join our welcoming and supportive Allied Health based out of either our Leongatha or Korumburra campus. As a part of a broader multidisciplinary team the role supports members of the community through the facilitation of group-based exercises and some one-on-one therapy.
As an Exercise Physiologist at GSHS you will be responsible for:
Design, facilitation and coordination of group programs
Working as a part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver programs
Providing education, advice and information to clients, families and their carers
About You
The successful applicant should possess the following:
Tertiary Qualifications in Applied Science, Exercise Science or similar related discipline
Membership of (or eligibility to join) the Australian Association for Exercise and Sports Science
Excellent interpersonal and emotional intelligence
An ability to deliver effective, evidence-based service delivery
Group facilitation skills
A mindset that is focussed on quality, continuous improvement and growth
Good organisation, time management skills so that you can effectively manage a varied case load
A current and valid driver's licence
