Position: Outside School Care Educator
Role Overview: As an Outside School Care Educator at MPSOSHC, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for children in our care. You will contribute to the implementation of our play-based approach, ensuring each child's unique needs and interests are nurtured. This role is an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children, promoting their holistic development and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Implementing and facilitating a play-based program that aligns with the principles of the Children Services Award (CSE 2.1).
- Building positive relationships with children, families, and the wider community.
- Promoting diversity and inclusion by creating an environment where every child feels valued and respected.
- Collaborating with a supportive team to maintain an over-ratio approach, providing optimal support for educators and children.
- Participating in regular staff meetings to ensure your voice is heard and contribute to the continuous improvement of our services.
- Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations governing child care services in Australia.
Requirements:
- Certificate III or Diploma in School Age Education and Care(desirable not essential)
- Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance.
- Strong understanding and commitment to play-based learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for creating inclusive and diverse learning environments.
- Ability to work in a team and use problem solving skills and initiative
- Be available to work at least 3 shifts per week 7:30-9:30AM or 2:45-6:00PM Weekdays
