About the role

Join Evolve Civil and Earthworks' team as a full-time Civil Labourer/Operator based in Devonport, Tasmania. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a range of machinery and equipment to support the delivery of civil construction projects.

What you'll be doing

Operating excavators, and other heavy machinery to carry out earthworks, site preparation, and infrastructure construction

Assisting with the operation of trucks, rollers, and other equipment to support site activities

Performing general labouring tasks such as loading/unloading materials, site clean-up, and manual handling

Ensuring equipment is well-maintained and operated safely and efficiently

Collaborating with the construction team to deliver projects on time and to a high standard

What we're looking for

Previous experience operating a range of civil construction machinery and equipment

A valid driver's licence and relevant licenses/tickets for operating heavy machinery

Strong safety awareness and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment

Excellent problem-solving and time management skills

The ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions

Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks
