The Role: Join our dynamic Shepparton Civil team and play a pivotal role in the underground installation of Distribution Network assets for Powercor. Your responsibilities will extend across a variety of tasks including conduit and culvert installation, and cable hauling. You will also engage in kiosk installations and concreting tasks, employing techniques like manual and mechanical excavation, Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD), and Non-Destructive Digging (NDD) using Hydro-Excavation. This role is ideal for individuals who excel in a team environment, uphold the highest safety standards, and are dedicated to achieving outstanding project outcomes.

What We're Looking For:

• Proficiency with horizontal directional drilling, Hydrovac and mechanical excavation is highly desirable, although not essential
• Current construction white card (mandatory)
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Current MR/HR truck license (preferred - not essential)
• Service locating experience (highly regarded)
• Ability to interpret construction plans and specifications (desirable)
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour in all weather conditions
• A strong work ethic, positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a team environment
• A commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
