ABOUT THIS ROLE

In this role you will:

Direct customers tipping onsite, maintain and encourage positive communication

Identify and recycle materials where ever possible

Pushing up of waste using front end loader to maintain a safe tipping zone

Load B-Doubles via transfer station using wheeled excavator/material handler

General housekeeping and paperwork

Weighbridge operation as required

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate a variety of plant machinery including: Excavators, Front End Loaders, Skid Steer

Site labouring duties

Oversee waste disposal activities to ensure smooth operations and compliance with environmental regulations

Participate in regular site inspections to monitor conditions and address any potential risk

Contribute to the implementation of waste management and recycling programs

Ensure company safety procedures and policies are adhered to

Carry out Pre-starts & routine maintenance on machinery - report defects when identified

Complete paperwork accurately and neatly

Be available to work overtime when required

ABOUT YOU

Experience and tickets for operating mobile plant equipment preferred (FEL, Excavator, Skid Steer)

We would consider providing training and tickets for the right candidate who demonstrates a willingness to learn

MC Licence preferred but not essential

Great customer service skills with the ability to work under pressure

Previous experience in waste operations or transfer station operations – highly regarded

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Proven safety record and adherence to safety practices

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
