As a Duty Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Sydney Campus, assisting with student services, campus security, and general administration. About the Role
Reporting to the Campus Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the campus during your shift. Whether supporting students, resolving classroom IT issues, responding to incidents, or assisting with facilities management, you will be the go-to person for maintaining a welcoming and secure learning environment.
Available shifts:
Duty Officer 1 – Tuesday & Wednesday, 08:00 am – 4:30 pm
Duty Officer 2 – Thursday & Friday, 08:00 am – 4:30 pm
Duty Officer 3 – Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, 4:30 pm – 9:15 pm (only during teaching weeks)
What You’ll Do
Provide frontline support to students and staff, ensuring a safe and positive campus environment.
Assist with basic administrative tasks, room setup, and event support.
Monitor security, emergency procedures, and general facilities management.
Respond to incidents, report issues, and liaise with relevant teams for resolution.
Provide basic IT troubleshooting and support for classroom technology, including projectors, computers, and audio-visual equipment.
Uphold campus policies and ensure compliance with safety standards.
What You Bring
Experience in customer service, security, facilities, or campus operations (preferred).
Basic IT troubleshooting skills and confidence in supporting classroom technology.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle incidents calmly and professionally.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A proactive and reliable approach with attention to detail.
Availability to work the designated shifts.
