Role Summary:

Little H Operations Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated and reliable individual for a part-time position within our hospitality businesses (2x restaurants). The role offers flexible hours, with 4 days per week and 5 hours per day. This position provides an excellent opportunity for someone looking to balance work and personal commitments while contributing to the success of a growing hospitality operation.

What you'll be doing

• Oversee the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and offboarding
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and best practices to foster a positive and productive work environment
• Create and execute a recruitment plan for the year, taking into consideration peak and off-peak seasons
• Provide guidance and support to managers on HR-related matters, including hiring, training, and employee relations
• Manage employee records and maintain compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations
• Coordinate and deliver learning and development opportunities to enhance employee skills and engagement
• Assist with the implementation of HR initiatives, such as employee recognition programs and wellness activities
• Analyse HR metrics and data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a generalist human resources role, preferably in the hospitality or tourism industry
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment legislation and compliance requirements
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels
• Proficient in HR information systems and data analysis
• Proactive, organised and adaptable, with the ability to prioritise and multitask
• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related field is highly desirable
