About the role

Our busy Malvern based cafe is looking for a part time coffee maker/barista to join our talented team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality espresso-based beverages and providing exceptional customer service. What you'll be doing

Preparing a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and more, to our customers' exact specifications

Ensuring the efficient operation of the coffee bar by stocking and maintaining equipment, as well as adhering to food safety and hygiene standards

Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service, offering recommendations and engaging with customers

Collaborating with the wider team to maintain a clean, organised and welcoming cafe environment

Adhering to company policies and procedures to deliver a consistent customer experience

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a barista or coffee maker, with a solid understanding of coffee brewing techniques and equipment

Excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing a high-quality cafe experience

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure

A positive, friendly and enthusiastic attitude, with a willingness to learn and grow within the role

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
